True to our heritage, Sierra exists to bring financial stability and peace of mind to those who build and grow the communities we love. We’ve done this since 1936, by providing low-cost, modern financial products backed by personable, caring, and professional service.
What’s Changing?
Beginning in August of 2023, Sierra’s logo, name, colors, images, and messaging will be updated to match our new brand. Look for the following changes to our look and feel this fall.
This rebrand won’t affect member access to any of Sierra’s services. Everything from the website address to online banking logins and federal insurance coverage remains the same.

Sierra was the first federal credit union in Nevada, and although we are still proud to be a federally chartered and insured credit union, the term “federal” will no longer live in our name. Sierra’s new brand uses images reflective of the diverse people and industries we serve and colors reflecting Sierra’s heritage and the vibrant spirit of our members.
What WON’T Change
Don’t worry, the Sierra you know and love isn’t going anywhere. We are still a member-owned, federally-insured, Reno-based credit union here to serve the members we’ve been dedicated to for over 87 years.
These aspects of Sierra Pacific have not changed:
- Federal Credit Union – Sierra is still federally insured and chartered by the National Credit Union Administration
- Ownership & Leadership – Sierra is still member-owned, has not merged or been acquired, and is led by the same incredible team out of Reno, NV.
- Website, Mobile App, and Branch Access – find us at the same addresses as always
- Contact information – No changes to our email address or phone numbers
- Our focus on YOU will never diminish. If anything, we’re emphasizing our members MORE
