Look, we all know how important it is for your kid to learn about money early on. That's why Sierra Pacific rewards our youngest members for earning good grades by giving them up to $25 per quarter.
Report Card Rewards go straight into the youth's savings or checking account. From there, parents and guardians can help them set financial goals, check their account balances, make withdrawals and purchases, and even budget for spending.
How to Earn Rewards
It's easy for kids to earn Report Card Rewards at Sierra Pacific CU. Here's how:
- Make sure you have a current Youth Savings account established. This is easy to set up - grab a parent or guardian, and you can set up membership online or in a branch in just a few minutes!
- Work hard to earn As, Bs, or Cs (or equivalents in other grading scales) every quarter
- Bring your new report card to a Sierra Pacific Credit Union branch each quarter
- Earn $5 for every A grade, $3 for every B, and $1 for every C (or equivalent), deposited right to your Youth Savings or Checking account, up to $25 total per quarter.
- If you earned Straight As, spin the Prize Wheel and walk away with great prizes, from gift cards to goodies to double rewards!
*Open only to youth who have an account at Sierra Pacific. Members under the age of 18 may earn $5.00 for every “A/A+” grade on a report card (including O/O+, S/S+), $3.00 for every “B/B+” grade on a report card and $1.00 for every “C/C+” grade on a report card. Report card rewards can only be redeemed in person at a branch during normal business hours. Report cards will be accepted for the most recent grading period only; maximum $25 earned. Progress reports are not eligible. The credit union will accept report cards issued by public or private schools. Home-schooled students must present a copy of their report card submitted to a Board of Education. Rewards will be deposited into the youth member’s checking or savings account. Prize wheel spins reserved for Straight A students only; once per grading period. See credit union for details. Federally insured by NCUA.
